Shugyo

Shugyo is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you. This policy explains what we collect (very little), what we don't (almost everything), and how the app works.
All workout logs, exercises, templates, and progress data are stored locally on your device using your browser's built-in storage. None of this data is transmitted to our servers or any third party.
If you delete the app or clear your browser data, your workout history will be removed. We recommend exporting your data periodically if you want a backup.
The AI coach feature is powered by the Anthropic Claude API. When you use the coach, your messages — along with summary context about your workouts — are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response.
We do not store your conversation history on any server. Anthropic processes your messages to return a reply and handles that data according to their own privacy policy.
Shugyo does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information. There is no username, email address, or password associated with your use of the app.
We do not use any analytics tools, crash reporters, or advertising SDKs. We do not track how you use the app, which screens you visit, or how often you open it.
Shugyo contains no advertisements. We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third party, ever. The app does not generate revenue from your information.
